Three's company, two's a crowd - that's the dynamic of this trio of friends, who’ve found their rhythm in a thoughtfully tailored space, one that feels like home to each of them. Seeking a fresh start to her living arrangement, lawyer and model Tina Nosa invited close friends Abdi Turayre, a fashion-focused creative, and Rodrigue Kitwanga, a versatile content creator to shake up the atmosphere and breathe new energy into the space. Amid a lot of laughter, we talked about future dreams, a unified vision for their shared interiors, travel, and of course creative energy - the tie that binds them all together.

What has been your process of creating a home where all three of you feel at home? Are there any essentials that make you feel at home; how have you come about creating this feeling?
All: Creating a home where all three of us feel comfortable has been a mix of online inspiration—whether it’s through design blogs, Pinterest, or even travel photos—finding elements that resonate with each of us and ideas from friends' homes, seeing what makes their spaces feel personal, and I draw ideas from that. We focus on blending our personal styles with shared elements like cozy furniture, soft lighting, and meaningful decor. It’s about finding a balance that reflects all of us, making the space feel welcoming and personal, so each of us feels truly at home.
As roommates, how do you combine personal aesthetics and style? Has it been important for you to show your mix of cultures?
We blend our personal aesthetics by drawing inspiration from our travels and the unique styles we each bring to the space. Whether it's decor from places we've visited or elements that spark our creativity, we make sure each piece reflects our individual tastes. While cultural touches play a part, it's more about the diverse inspirations we’ve gathered over time, making our home feel like a dynamic and shared space where we can all feel connected and inspired.
Rodrigue: yes, and even tho we have very different aesthetics, I feel like we have been good at agreeing on what vibe we want the apartment to be. You can definitely spot each of our vibes through the apartment.
