Known for her fearless and colorful approach to mixing textures, prints, and striking silhouettes, Karoline Dall, or "karodall" as she's known on socials, is a creative soul whose influence extends far beyond fashion. Naturally gravitating to the ways of the brush, Dall has ventured into the art world, creating abstract pieces that are equally as vivid as her wardrobe. With her first child on the way, she's thrilled with all that motherhood will bring and we’re sure her daughter will share the same color and confidence, brightening up the world in her own way!

For those who don't know you, how would you like to introduce yourself?
My name is Karoline Dall, though most people know me as Karo Dall. I’m 33 years old and live in Copenhagen with my fiancé, whom I proposed to last year, his 9-year-old daughter, and our dog, Werner - who is my firstborn. I’m also expecting our first child together, a baby girl. I’ve been working as an influencer for eight years, and during that time, my style has become known for its vibrant colors and bold outfits. I’m truly passionate about styling and expressing myself through fashion. My career began 10 years ago as a fashion assistant at Costume magazine, which was my first real introduction to the fashion industry. As Instagram became more popular, I started sharing my outfits on the platform and gradually developed a more colorful style that became my signature.
How does life look right now? What are you both dreaming of?
Right now, I feel like I’m living the life I’ve always dreamed of. It might sound a bit cliché, but I’ve finally arrived at the place where I want to be. Becoming pregnant felt like the last piece of the puzzle. I’m with the man I love, we live in a wonderful home, and I’m passionate about my work. The idea of becoming a mother fills me with a deep joy. Moving forward, I really just want to continue the life we have built together. Of course, I know I’ll miss the time we’ve had as a couple, but overall, I feel grounded and happy in my early thirties.
What’s your process of creating a home? Are there any essentials that make you feel at home, or how do you create this feeling? How would you describe this feeling of home?
I work from home, so I’m here every day unless I have meetings or jobs outside. Home is my base - the place I love being and where I feel most comfortable. It needs to be a space that’s cozy, spacious, and calm. It’s where I recharge and relax, and that’s what matters most to me.

We know you're a huge fan of colors! Based on your own experience, what are your tips for adding color and texture to a home?
Our home features a lot of colors, although I’ve made a conscious effort to tone things down so it doesn’t become overwhelming. If you’re looking to introduce color into your space, I recommend avoiding large, bold pieces like a brightly colored sofa or table initially. Instead, start with smaller accents such as rugs, cushions, or colorful flowers rather than white ones. These elements are easy to switch out, and choosing colors that repeat throughout the home helps create a cohesive and harmonious feel. Beginning with subtle touches, like a vibrant painting in a neutral room, is an excellent way to add color without overwhelming the space.
As you prepare to welcome a daughter into the world, what do you feel is the most important gift or life lesson you hope to pass on to her?
I would actually say it’s about setting boundaries. It’s okay to say no, and it’s okay to set limits. That’s something I’ve really had to learn myself in my thirties — learning to say no and stand firm without feeling the need to apologize for it. Instead, it’s about being honest with both others and yourself.
