Hanna Stefansson, a Swedish-born blogger turned content creator, has been pursuing her passion full-time for over a decade. Together with her partner Frederik, a photographer, and their two young sons, Arne and Ole, their modern home has become a place where creativity and family life coexist effortlessly. Having grown up in Helsingborg, Hanna prefers the lively cityscape of Copenhagen but loves how easy it is to visit family or welcome loved ones from Sweden. She draws joy from small rituals, like fresh flowers every Friday, and shares glimpses of her life, hoping to inspire others with her simple yet chic and meaningful approach to living and design. Her home reflects a lot of thought that includes her kids too. And while the silence is a welcome break while the kids are at school, Hanna has carefully curated a living space to make even the smallest guests feel at home.

For those who don't know you, would you like to introduce yourself?
Im Hanna Stefansson. I'm 36 years old, born in Sweden but now living in Copenhagen with my man Frederik and our two sons Arne and Ole.
How does life look right now?
It's good. I'm tired but very happy. Love that its getting brighter again.
What’s the dream?
To be present and healthy. I think gratefulness is the only way to happiness.
What’s your process of creating a home? Are there any essentials that make you feel at home, or how do you create this feeling? How would you describe this feeling of home?
I used to travel so much that creating a home felt secondary, but now with kids we spend so much time at home and it started to become more and more important for me. I have some pieces in our home that really makes it feel like home. I love our big bed (210x210) where all four of us sleep, our dining table where we eat and our magma sofa where we unwind. And oh my Helle Mardahl lamp Frederik gave me many years ago that looks like our very own full moon. And oh our new espresso machine from Sage, best way to start the day.
What would you say are the biggest differences between Danish and Swedish interior styles?
And which style would you say have influenced you the most? I'm grew up in a home where we would redecorate every other year with the new Ikea designs. I feel like the Danes invest and inherit pieces that will last for lifetimes.
How would you say that having kids and being passionate about your home aesthetics combine? What are the compromises and the wins?
It's been important for us that the kids feel like they are allowed anywhere in the home, we have picked pieces that aren't too fragile or in sensitive colors - we all live here now.
