Josephine Bredsted is a Danish creative consultant specializing in brand development and creative direction while elevating brands with true well-being as its centrifuge. Keeping her vision of wellness harmonic, she is also the co-host of the podcast Best Life Guide, which focuses on spirituality, personal growth, and navigating life intentionally. Her vision of home is all about “minimal effort for maximum impact” - creating warmth, connection, and a space that welcomes both nature and people. Endlessly curious and with a gentle sharp wit, she has a realistic approach to family life and motherhood in all its magical and messy moments that truly make a house feel like home.

For those who don't know you, would you like to introduce yourself?
My name is Josephine Bredsted—I’m married to Christen, mother to Neo, and the founder of Sunflower CPH, where I work as a branding consultant. I also co-host the podcast Best Life Guide, where we explore all things spiritual, personal growth, and how to navigate life with a little more intention. I love people, and I’m endlessly curious about how we can create balance in our lives—no matter what life throws our way.
How does life look right now? What are you both dreaming of?
Right now, life is a mix of deep love, challenges, and a whole lot of learning. Having a young child while navigating life’s ups and downs is no joke—it’s humbling, messy, and beautiful all at once. My biggest dream is that we, as a family, continue to grow through whatever comes our way. That love and understanding are always our foundation. And that Neo will always feel deeply loved and safe, no matter where life takes him.
What’s the dream?
The dream is to live with more ease. To create work that feels meaningful. To surround myself with people who inspire me. And to one day have a house with a wild garden, big windows, and space to just breathe
What’s your process of creating a home? Are there any essentials that make you feel at home?
For me, home is about creating a feeling—of safety, warmth, and presence. I used to care a lot about things—where they came from, what they meant—but after moving almost once a year for the past many years, I’ve become way less attached to objects. Now, I just want a home that feels light, functional, and connected to nature. Natural elements, good light, and a space that invites people in—that’s what matters to me.
How would you say that having kids and being passionate about your home aesthetics combine? What are the compromises and the wins?
Let’s be real—kids are design disruptors. You can have the most aesthetically pleasing home, and then suddenly, your floor is covered in toy trucks, and your beautiful linen sofa is now a canvas for sticky little hands. The compromise? You let go of perfection. The win? Your home becomes truly lived in.
As a mother to a little son, what do you believe is the most important gift or life lesson you'd like to pass on to your son?
That he is enough, exactly as he is. That love is always the answer. And that life is never about what you have but who you are.
